Our History

First steps
January: In the city of Rionegro, Dentales Market opened its doors on January 26th, with an operating area of 30 m², with the objective of satisfying the needs of products and services in the dental sector, focusing on the clinical area. The vision was clear: to provide innovative and quality solutions. March: Expansion was not long in coming. In just a few months, the second branch was inaugurated in Medellin, allowing the company to grow rapidly and to have 4 dedicated and passionate employees. December: At the end of the year, Dentales Market celebrated its first significant achievements, closing with 6 employees and a total area of 95 m².

Consolidation and Partnerships
3M Distribution (Now Solventum): This year marked an important milestone with the acquisition of direct distribution of the prestigious 3M brand. The Dentales Market family grew to 10 employees, strengthening its position in the market.

Structured Growth
With a clear vision for the future, the Operations and Commercial departments were created. New order control software was implemented, improving efficiency and customer service. The operations and administration headquarters expanded to 145 m², and the team increased to 20 employees committed to excellence.

Resilience in Difficult Times
The year 2020 presented unique challenges due to the pandemic. However, Dentales Market focused on retaining as many staff as possible, reviewing, organizing and optimizing processes without making significant structural changes. Resilience and team commitment were key to getting through this period.

Regional Expansion
January: The Cali branch was inaugurated, bringing our solutions to a new region. July: Expansion continued with the opening of the Barranquilla branch, consolidating our presence in the country.

Preparing for the Future
Beginning of the year: With 4 operational branches and more than 400 m² in total for operations and administration, Dentales Market continued to grow. May: Construction began on the new headquarters in Medellín, adding 600 m² with the objective of expanding the warehouse and improving the logistic service for our branches.

2023
Inauguration of the new headquarters in Medellín, marking the beginning of a new era for the company. The process of changing the software to SIESA began, improving management and operation. Dentales Market now sells more than 4,500 references, serving more than 5,500 satisfied customers. The expansion continued with the opening of a new headquarters in Bogota, reaching a total of 42 direct employees and 10 indirect employees, with more than 1,000 m² of facilities.
